Guardian Drink Holders™ are easy to install, taking just 4 screws to fit, which are provided with the holders. If there is any unauthorised attempt to remove the holder from the wall without the key (eg by vandals), there is NO resulting damage whatsoever to the wall.
An installation template and full instructions and screws are provided.
- We highly recommend that when installing in the cubicles fit only to the back wall.
- Check wall for electric wires and water pipes before drilling any holes.
- If drilling into brick or plaster board use a number 7 drill bit and the correct size raw plug, if drilling into wood use a 3mm drill bit to make a pilot hole.
- Once holes have been made using the template provided, place back plate over holes on the wall.
- Screw the large rubber bushes into the bottom two bush holes, then screw the small rubber bushes into the top two bush holes (example shown in picture opposite) Once complete make sure the back plate is securely fitted to the wall and has no movement what so ever.
- Clip the front plate on to the back plate, making sure it is tight fit with no gaps showing around the joints, this may require some pressure.
- Now place key into the lock, make sure marker on lock is pointing up and push through the lock chamber (example shown in picture opposite).
- Turn slightly to the left so the marker on the lock meets the marker on the holder, when turning the key make sure to also push inwards to prevent the key from wearing down.
- Once the front plate is locked into place wipe down the holder with a damp cloth.
- Your Guardian Drink Holder is now ready to use!
